Difference between Canadian citizenship and passport?

I have the Indian passport, and I am a Canadian citizen. I might need to go to U.S. So do I need to get the Canadian passport?

It would be to your benefit to get the Canadian passport.  If you enter the US with your Indian passport you will likely have to get a visa before you are admitted.

If you have Canadian citizenship, you need a Canadian passport to enter and leave the country.
