  2. RNA is a molecule of nucleotides linked together is the answer that you want.  It is actually a single stranded molecule usually.  The nucleotides are not linked, they are kind of free floating in the nucleus, each bound to a sugar (Ribose) which is itself bound to a phosphate group.
