Difference between Diplomas and degrees?!?!?!

In canada, when you graduate from college with an advance diploma, what does that make you when going into a university? a graduate or an undergraduate? and if you have an advanced diploma from a college, does that make a difference when going into university?

You will still be an undergraduate when starting university if you are registering for a bachelor's degree.  You may get some university credit for some of the courses you did as part of the diploma, but each university makes its own determination about that.  You will have to submit your transcripts and request credit and they will make an evaluation and let you know if you can get any credit for any of the college work.  Sometimes a college is affiliated with a university, and that would make the process easier.
