  1. no diffrence,kero-eg:avtur,avtag-are different types of kero, hydroprocessesed is manufactured as well as hydrotreated...sorry im a wee bit drunk but u should make light of this answer.

  2. More to the point....theres no difference.

Hydroprocessing and hydrotreating are the same.  They use Co/Mo catalysts and high pressure hydrogen to hydrogenate a base stock to produce Jet kerosene.  Its easier to distill too, but they still call it a "Wide Cut".

Oh.  and the hydrogenation is the same as used on Margarine.   Just a different starting material.  Veg. oil.

    wer

  3. Hydroprocessed is a generic term for Hydrogenation (the same in margerine making. they use veg-oil instead of fuel), Hydrocraking, and Hydrotreating. Hydrotreated is more specific to Hydrotreating.

    Hydrogenation:

increase H/C (saturation of olefins & aromatics)

    •          stabilizing distillate fuels like gasoline, jet fuel by preventing sediment formation

    •          upgrading (decreasing boiling pt. range) of residue

    Hydrocracking

    •         decrease MW and boiling point

    •          saturates from aromatics

    •          molecular size reduction

    •          reside upgrading

    Hydrotreating

                remove e.g., sweetening

    •          remove heteroatoms (S, N, metals)

    •         removal of impurities
