Difference between Jews and Black people?

Ok, forgive my blatant and boundless ignorance and lets put aside the fact that its bigoted, racist jerks like me who are what's wrong with this world - but I must ask since I'm cowardly and Yahoo! Answers is the only medium over which I can hide behind a screen and ask -

Most black people seem to carry a chip on their shoulder about slavery and walk around all p*ssed and paranoid whereas Jewish people got kidnapped, locked-up, tortured, beaten and killed by the millions during the Holocaust - how come they don't get their panties up in a bunch about it?

I'm not trying to get a rise, I really must know what I'm missing.

I think it is because Blacks had done nothing wrong and they were tortured and  enslaved for hundreds of years ..

Jews went round telling everyone they were Gods chosen ones

no one was every good enough for their familes .They hoarded all the money and lent it out at extortionate rates ,and the ******* are always bitching on and on and on and on and on and on ....

I'm glad that you admit to being a coward and a jerk.  

Most Black people walk around with a chip on their shoulders because racism and injustice still exist. And, you have no idea how we feel unless youre Black.

I'm not saying it's an excuse to be ignorant and mad at the world its that Black people have to be a little more cautious than most.

First of all blacks dont know why they were sold into slavery and the history has been hidden from them. So they are ignore -rant to the fact and simply dont know. Blacks are still mistreated more than any people on this earth. Rather you know it or not, call it a chip or whatever you like. Chinese, Japanese, etc. can trace there heritage and find home.

First of all get your fact straight.... Africans and the so called African-Americans are two totally different nations.

So they are not our ancestors. Our ancestors are Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, and Yahoshua aka Jesus.

We cant trace our ancetors back, our history has been hidden and stolen from us, we dont know where we come from and we are for the most lost as a nation.

These are the curses of real Israel (the blacks), deemed by the Most High.

The Jews on the other hand, are in our land livng good, so why would they complain. You have stolen someones identity and heritage and are reaping the benefits. Holocaust was one event, and it was only 200, 000 people that died.. to tell you the truth of the matter. Dont speak on something if you have not been throught it. Now the facts find the history and look for truth. Is Holocaust all they have? We have year of bondage and we are still in captivity only mentally, because we know not where we come from, but are slowly learning.

Wondered about this myself.  Other groups like the Chinese, Irish and Germans were not treated too well in the past either but you dont see them today demanding what the blacks demand.  You don't see them crying discrimination all the time about everything.   Also, the blacks should take a look at who it was that originally sold them into slavery in the first place - other black tribes raided villages and kidnapped and raped and sold the people to the slavers in the first place.

Both groups are well aware of the mileage they can get from playing the victim....both groups only see their plight from their point of view...both groups don't recognize the plight of other groups...and neither group is ever thankful for the gains that they have made from the suffering of their ancestors...so apart from the obvious I don't see that much difference...

I don't have a pat answer either but imho the race "issue" is largely kept alive by the black people themselves.  Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan and now Wright persist on fanning the flames.  If the blacks would let it die, get on with their lives, focus on making a contribution instead of extracting retribution, the whole thing would go away.

can't speak for the jews, but they have radical factions also, such as the JDL.  It just doesn't get the press and they don't seem to have leaders who exacerbate things with inflammatory rhetoric.
