Are PSAT questions easier than SAT questions?

or do they pretty much have the same question types?

  1. The PSAT's are the practice SAT's. If you do well enough on the PSAT's you can get Merit Scholarships. The SAT's are what most colleges look at when you apply. You usually take the PSAT any time before Junior year is over and the SAT you can take as early as Junior year. They cover the same subjects math, English, and writing, They are both timed. Even though the PSAT is just practice you should still try to do well as it will give you an idea of your strengths and weaknesses. Also some colleges look  at the PSAT.
