Question:

Difference between V4 and V6 engine?

I live in one of the coldest cities in Canada and was wondering if a V4 would be strong enough to survive the winter. I always plug in my other car which is a V6, but it's 18 years old. I was looking to get a 2003 Grand Am.

  1. i think an SUV i4 FWD  4*4 will be so good to you and it sure enough to survive the winter. good luck

  2. #1 - cars do NOT use V4.  They only use i4.

#2 - my Audi A4 is 4 cylinder and it survives winters really well

#3 - so that depends on your car - not the cylinder count

Are you fracking with me?!!!  Move to one of the USA southern states.  We love Canadians here.

    Good Luck....

  3. The engine size does not mean it is good or bad. Being smaller might help as there is less oil to cause more drag in the colder winters.

  4. There shouldn't be any difficulty start and running either one if you make sure they are plugged in anytime they are not running and the raditor fluid is kept warm. Also make sure that you maintain the the antifreeze to handle the temperature.
