I am doing a persuasive speech on why you should buy a Ferrari.

I need to know what are the major things that differentiate normal cars (civics, camrys) from Ferraris. What are things that make a Ferrari special?

Also, may someone also tell me the difference between Ferrari and Lamborghini?

  1. Cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche are much faster than normal cars.

    1. Ferrari looks better than any normal car.

    2. Ferrari's hand make their engines and hand stich their Italian leather in the cars.

    3. They handle much better than normal cars.

    4. They go at least 40mph faster than normal cars.

    5. They accelerate to 60mph 1-7 seconds faster than normal cars.

    6. they cost 4-10 times as much as normal cars.

Ferrari and Lamborghini are both Italian supercar companies.

Their cars are almost equal in performance. People just buy what they think looks better. The only difference between them is that they are 2 different companies.

  2. lambos are owned by audi now so it comes with common sense, such as adjustable ride height for speed bumps. some ferraris have this also but only as options.

Normals cars have a radio to drown out that horrible noise called a small engine. ferrari has none because you WANT to hear the engine with it's beautifully tuned v10 or whatever. normal car has luxuries such as padded seats. most ferraris have none because they are built to movbe not to potter about at 55 but maybe 155? you want a good feel of the car you are driving and ferrari does this very well. the stoopid computers it has lets it down a bit. good fun going around the track or showing how much faster it is than that japanese weird cars and american muscle cars.

so if you are a hooligan and starting to lose you hair and think you are 'cool' buy a Ferrari.

  3. Normal cars of today are economy cars. They barely pass legal tests (braking, crash safety) are fitted with small economical engines, use a lot of cheap plastic, and have lots of limiters that make the car pollute less, and go slower. The exhaust is so bad, that you can hear the wind noise from a car over the engine, are fitted with prehistoric brakes, wheels from the junkyard,

Ferrari's are handbuilt, top end supercars. They accelerate about 3-4 times faster than a regular car, are fitted with big brakes that halves the stopping distance of a regular car, lightweight rims, have no restrictions, made with carbon fiber, aluminium, and leather, loud exhaust that increases horsepower. Ferrari's are designed by Pinifarina, an Italian car designer, fitted with F1 technology,

Ferrari's are heart and soul, you can feel the passion. Ferrari was founded in 1947, and since then, they been competing in racing, especially F1.

Lamborghini was a tractor manufacurer, then was founded in 1962, and had several owners: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini...

Modern Lamborghini's are now just  souped up Audis

  4. Differences between a Ferrari and a regular car are:-

    Acceleration

    Handling

    Braking

    Price

    Kudos

    Styling

    Rarity

    F1 Technology

Differences between a modern Ferrari and a modern Lamborghini are:-

    Lamborghini's are 4WD, Ferrari's are RWD

Ferrari use state of the art F1 technology

Ferrari F1 gearbox changes gear in 60 milliseconds

Lamborghini's have better build quality due to being owned by Audi

Lamborghini's have more "in your face" styling

  5. well firstly its the quality of the car, a ferrari is built much better, they are designed as a faster car, and much sportier. a ferrari has a more powerful engine, better suspension, that sort of things. it has a higher power to weight ratio due to lighter, stronger materials. as for the difference between ferrari and lamborghini, im not too sure what the difference is aside from looks and manufacturers. they are both a sporty car and use similar materials to construct it.

  6. Ferrari has the most racing experience out of any manufacturer... they've been in Formula One since it began and won almost all the time in Le Mans as well.

Any of those Italian manufacturers make works of art but what sets Ferrari apart from Lamborghini is experience and racing technology even if both of them seem beautiful the Ferrari will have better lap times, gear shifts, alloys, aluminum and carbon fiber body, higher revs, center of balance, carbon ceramic brakes, aerodynamics and under body diffusers, etc.

Such as the F430 and Enzo which have five valves per cylinder and titanium valves, higher revs and faster shifts from the F1 transmission made by Magneti Marelli which makes the shifters for Formula One cars.

You know Ferrari hand makes their engines in a room with a glass ceiling and trees inside for the best humidity to make an engine and has a more advanced wind tunnel than NASA. They don't make cars for heated seats, or DVD players, or for show, they make cars for racing, Pininfarina designs the looks not Ferrari, Ferrari makes the engines, suspension, all the racing stuff and Scagieletti builds the body, Ferrari is racing technology, they put it all together.

So the difference between a Ferrari and a regular Taurus or Camry is aluminum and carbon fiber body, lower center of gravity almost 50/50 weight distribution. Under body air diffusers and aerodynamics that allow it a 200mph+ top speed and down force to corner a lot faster. A high revving engine for wider horsepower and torque band usually 10,000-12,000 rpm. Titanium valves for said high revvs, aluminum alloy engine to save weight, carbon fiber cermaic disc brakes for better stopping power than almost any cars, the suspension changes damping within so many milliseconds as it senses the road. A lot smoother and faster shifts from the F1 transmission which is right from Formula One, the most advanced and fastest racing on the planet. As far as inside the only luxuray is the Italian stitched leather, for instance the Enzo has no radio and no electric windows you have to roll them up because the car is built for speed not diddle dawdling around. On the steering wheel you have the controls for the transmission like faster shifts in sport mode and stiffer suspension in sport mode and the revvs apear as LED lights on top of the steering wheel so you know when to shift.

    Hmmm what else besides everything....

Basically most cars are for driving to the grocery store or McDonalds. Ferraris are for the race track. You can add horsepower to a regular car but it doesn't mean jack that's like adding a rocket engine to a farm tractor, it's great as a joke to make people laugh.

    P.S.

Look up Formula One or Le Mans in wikipedia or anywhere else. You'll see Ferrari but not Lamborghini. That's the difference, racing experience and taking that experience and putting it in their street cars.
