We're seeing a requirement in a lot of job ads for auto technicians requesting "A" or "B" techs. Does anyone know the difference between the levels/ classes? I haven't been able to find anything on line. Thanks!

  1. An A tech is one that has very special skills, a B tech is a tech that has skills, sort of in the middle skill wise.

  2. Levels of experience and/or certification, basically.

The actual definition depends on the specific location.
