  1. Latex condoms are made of latex. Non latex condoms are not made of latex. (I forget what they're made of) You only need non-latex condoms if you or the other person are allergic to latex. Trojan, durex, they're all fine. They all have some people who say that they're good and some people who say that they're not. If you'd like get the her pleasure ones they'd be fine.

  2. my personal preference.... i get condoms with spermicide... just in case.  and when it comes to brand, i have never noticed a difference big enough to make me really want to go back to a certain one.  its good that you're trying to be safe.

  3. Non-latex condoms are out for people who have latex allergies.  However, they are not as effective as latex condoms.  Whatever product you buy, make sure they have nonoxadil-9 (I believe I spelled that wrong), which is a sperm killer.

Trojans are certiandly a good brand.  The ones with the orange box-- self heating or something like that, are good for both parties.  And the ones in the black box are good for men who "end" too early-- they kind of numb him a little bit, causing s*x to be prolonged.  Always a plus!!  Alot of the her pleasure ones don't work if you have a short partner-- the ribbing is too high up for shorter men.

Thats my opinion anyway, from personal experience

  4. Non latex condoms are made from polyurethane and are primarily designed for those with a latex allergy. They are more expense than latex, and they are thinner yet stronger. They can 'rustle' a bit like a plastic bag in use, especially the non-latex femidom.

Look for the kite mark of quality on the condom. In the EU there is a stamp of 'CE'.

All the major brands are good, and safe, but as people come in all different shapes and sizes, some are better for individuals than others. A friend may think one is fantastic, but you might find it doesn't fit right, and the one you love might often break with your friend.

The best condoms for a women to carry are any, as long as they are quality stamped, and within their expiry date. Experiment with different ones, and see what you like.

EDIT: In response to a post above mentioning nonoxynol-9, the spermicide, most condoms now do not contain nonoxynol-9 because a lot of people found it caused them irriatation or allergic reactions. If you wish to use it make sure both you and your partner are not affected by it.
