Difference between syrups?

There are two syrups I can buy:

Promethazine-Codeine for 30$ for 473ml

or

Promethazine VC/Codeine for 30$ for 118ml

What is the difference between these two?

  2. VC stands for vasoconstrictor - it means a decongestant agent has been added.
