  1. To add to what has been stated already.

Tornadoes during tropical weather are usually weak, although can still cause damage to some parts of a structure, like the roof.

Tornadoes along a front can be strong, depending on the type of storm.  If there is a line of storms with embedded stronger storms, you may get a quick tornado, but most likely you are going to have wind damage from straight line winds and not an actual tornado.

However, if you get supercell thunderstorms to form along a front or due to other reasons, you have a better chance at not only having a tornado, but a large, damaging tornado.

Florida could have a strong tornado, but atmospheric conditions are not the same as out in the Central Plains where conditions are ripe for several days in a row where multiple supercells will form and tornadoes will occur.

  2. Tornadoes during hurricanes tend to be weak and short-lived (some are strong, though).

Tornadoes during front movement tend to be a bit stronger that they are on prime breeding ground for tornadic storm development.

Tornadoes during thunderstorms are usually weak, unless they are near two very different air masses. Then they're quite strong.

  3. tornadoes are tornadoes. The only difference are the conditions causing them.
