Difference between two and four stroke engine?

  1. the four stroke engines require 4 cycles to complete the ignition process.. suck,squeeze,bang and blow ... two stroke engines require only 2 cycles.... as the exhaust gasses exit the barrel the fuel and air mixture enters  the piston compresses the fuel and air then the spark ignites it... then the cycle starts again.... also 2 stroke engines require oil to be mixed in with the fuel and 2 strokes do not have valves as the fuel doesn't get sucked in from the top of the barrel it flows round and underneath the crankshaft... so there you have it the main differences
