Question:

Difference in Pay for NHS and Agency Nurses?

What is the difference in pay for NHS and private agency nurses. I will be working through a travel nurse agency and it seems that the pay and benefits are great. I hope so. Compared to the US, the work day seems shorter and the pay is better. In Missouri you will starve to death trying to be a hospital nurse, but an agency nurse makes loads of money here with housing thrown in. Thoughts?

  1. The most effecient way I found to make money was with a business. Something that costs little to get started, has a turnkey business model, has support from people who make lots of money running it and is setup to make money like clock work from the beginning. 2. My Dad is a nurse and he's always found the NHS to be the better employer. Not only do they have higher wages, the benefits, such as the pension, travel expenses, enhanced hour payments all add up to make the trust a better bet. The NHS jobs website will show you the positions and wages that are on offer. Also this site will only show you the basic wage, NHS workers get on average an extra 25% on top of their wage for the unsociable hours that they work.
