  1. Cake flour is low protein flour which can be used for cakes.  I generally will not work for bread because there's not enough protein to hold the gas pockets to let the bread rise.  Bread flour is quite a bit higher in proetein.  Self rising flour has baking soda added to it so it will rise without yeast.  You can use it to make biscuits.
