Difference in models of Sea Doos?

Question

Please explain the models to me. I know that the H.P. can be different, but if one is GTX, and the other is XP what's the difference? They are both 1998. Oh, and what is a "waverunner"?

a wave runner is Kawasaki. a seadoo GTX is a 3 seater. the XP is a sportier 2 seater.  the GTX, a heavy person can stand on one side of the boat and it won't turn over. the xp can easily get unbalanced and turn over.
