Difference in rugby balls?

What is the difference between a training ball, a replica ball and a match ball? They are all the same price.

  1. A proper match ball isn't the same price.

    We play with the Guinness Premiership ball,

    I think it's about £80, and well worth it. but I've never seen it for sale.

    You get different training balls, usually a lot cheaper (25 - £30)

    They are tougher, but not as nice as a match ball.

    Also, you get different kinds of training balls.

    Scrum half balls are a fair bit heavier, you wouldn't want to play with that all day, and your hooker would never hit the lineout.

    A replica ball is just a general purpose ball but in club colours

    Here's the Guinness ball - when it's freezing cold and raining, you'll appreciate it. Worth every penny.
