Who finds the taste of a drink such as coke is different if bought from the pub or mc donalds compared to bottled, canned stuff from the supamarkets?

If you nottce a difference, which one do you prefer?

why do you think there is a difference in taste?

  1. i hate fountain drinks, bottled drinks are so-so in plastic bottles (because they go flat quicker) they are better in glass bottles (but not really worth it) but i prefer cans (even though sometimes i think drinking from them might be unsanitary (look at all the dirt and grim around the rim- nothing covers where you put your mouth)

  2. Yes it is far nicer in bar and restaurants. The biggest difference is with fanta. Restaurant fanta is a deep orange compared to the supermarket c**p and far nicer!!

  3. yeah but ive noticed it like more in lemonade if i get it a bar compaired to like the bottles of it the bars taste better

  4. THere is probably a difference in taste because of the machines that the pop goes through, and how it is actually delivered in the cup... yes, i know, sounds weird. I like the carbination, so i like soft drinks such as sprite from a fast food, rather than from the can.

  5. i say it is better in a bottle it has a richer taste

  6. In a bar/restaurant the "draught" drinks (cola etc) are not pre-mixed they are made by mixing soda water with syrup. The bar has a gun which soda comes out the main button & by pressing one of the smaller buttons the syrup of either cola/lemonade/orange etc comes out and mixes. Bars do it this way as it is much cheaper. Soda water is practically free & the syrup comes in large boxes, very concentrated so each drink only uses a little. Bottles, cans etc are premixed in the factory.

    I prefer draught stuff! xx

  7. supermarkets sell cheap rubbish, spend a bit more and at least you can drink and enjoy

  8. In fountain drinks the drink syrup and carbonated water are not premixed, they mix together as they are dispensed.  Bottled and canned drinks are already mixed and are not as fresh.
