What was included in Dalton's and Ernest's different models of the atom?

(As far as Protons, Neutrons, Electrons, etc)

  1. Read your book.  Since these particles were not known in Dalton's days, I doubt if his model mentioned them.  


  2. John Dalton-English chemist that proposed first atomic theory in 1803. :

    1. All elements are composed of indivisible particles.

    2. Atoms of the same element are exactly alike.

    3. Atoms of different elements are different.

    4. Compounds are formed by joining atoms of two or more elements.

    Ernest Rutherford-physicist envisioned the atom as like a miniature solar system, with electrons orbiting around a massive nucleus.
