Difference with HDMI 1.3?

What is the difference between this and version 1.0 and 1.2

Adds some OPTIONAL features, like support for higher speed, deep color, xvYCC color, etc.

There are some features added for the future like signal equalization (for long runs), and a new delay feature to solve lip-sync problems.

But these are OPTIONS. Many of the source and TV sides of things are "1.3" compatible - but dont give you these features.

If you are burying a cable in the wall - make sure it's 1.3 to future proof yourself.
