Hello i want to make a decision but i cannot.

I had read all the articles and reviews about both places to stay and i dont make my final decision and i need your help.

Im interested in a hotel with a private bathroom and both have it.

I read some reviews and one says that is very noisy (Dolby Hotel) and other says that there is creepy people (International Inn Hostel).

I need a hand in my decision. Im looking for safe, not too much noise, privacy, cleaness and good location.

Please give me your opinions to finish my booking.

Thanks

  1. The Dolby Hotel is a budget chain hotel on the river front near the Albert Dock, so it has good views but a noisy six-lane main road outside that you'll have to cross to get into town.

The International Inn (if it's the one I think it is) is in South Hunter Street and has an integral internet café.  The creepy people are bound to be the backpackers that stay there.  It is right in the heart of the student and boozing area and very handy for the cultural riches, late bars, junk food shops, pubs, theatres, the Philharmonic Hall, both cathedrals, the FACT centre, etc.

It depends what you are coming to Liverpool for!

  2. I have not been in either hotel, but I do remember someone posting here about the Dolby Hotel about 6 months ago, who was very critical about the service and the state of the building.
