  1. Men can smile, animals Can not.

    Men can cry, animals can't

    Men can think, animals can't

  2. Culture and religion are chief characteristics of humans. They do not

    exist for animals.

  3. the tail up front for men

    animals actually knows your emotions

    animals are braver

  4. You might do better to ask people to name all the differences between cats and spiders, or tortoises and fish - it's too broad! You could say humans walk on two legs, but then so do some other animals. You could say they can't breathe underwater like a fish, but many other animals also can't.

To the first answerer: Animals can laugh, cry and think. In fact, I was reading the other day that rats have ticklish places on their skin which make them "laugh" if they're tickled there, only the sounds they emit are too high-pitched for humans to hear (Wikipedia - I know they're not 100% reliable, but I don't know why anyone would make that up). Many animals have complex social structures, show compassion towards other animals, have "speech" (eg bees dancing, or hens having a range of different vocalisations for different events, or even primates learning sign language to communicate with humans), solve complex problems, do better in memory tests than many humans, and so on.

The main differences would be that humans pollute their environment and use up all available resources, even though they should know better, and that they also rely heavily on tools and technology.

  5. The biggest difference is that animals kill for food.  Man kills for many reasons, like hate, prejudice, fun, perversion, religion, war, etc.  All, of which are stupid, stupid, stupid, and totally illogical.
