  1. Aluminum is 100% recyclable. It is a more valuable material than plastic and you can more easily find a buyer for the material. Plastic recycling is iffy.

    Also, Plastic can leach chemicals when heated. If you leave a plastic bottle in your car on a hot day, you'll get a mouthful of bisphenol A when you take a swig.

    There is a good alternative. Its called a Klean Kanteen. which is made out of stainless steel, which does not leach and is 100% recyclable.

    alumina would last longer

    alumina may keep the fluid temp longer either cold or hot bev

    the biggest concern would be the leaching out of chemicals from either product into the liquid if it was stored in the container to long
