Different Labret piercings?

Question

So I have really wanted my Lip done for quiet some time. I think I am on the verge of convincing my parents. I have done some research but there is something I need a bit of help with. There are multiple kinds of Labret piercings. I dont know the difference between any of them:P Vertical labret, V, whatever:P Anyways can you tll me the difference and possibly some pictures.
