Different areas of work at the ASPCA?

I'd really like to work with animals. I know that animal police have to both have gone thru police academy and veterinary school. So that takes a while. But what other areas are there at the ASPCA other than the police and the veterinarians. What types of assistants do they have and other things like that? Thanks :)

I don't think animal police have to go to veterinary school (or vet tech school). However, knowledge about animal health would help you "quickly identify animal health issues in the field (Kristie Franks)"
