Different file types in Windows Movie Maker?

How can I save my movie so that I can upload it to youtube?

follow these instructions and it should convert it into the right file type

to enable it to be uploaded on youtube.

1: click file then publish movie

2: then it will say where do u want it published? u shall click computer.

3:next it will say the file name and where u want to save it.

4: 3 options come up , click the first 1

5: click publish and your done.

6: upload onto youtube ;)

I'm guessing you went to File> Save as... DON'T DO THAT! You will only get a MSWMM file, which isn't a movie file, but the WMM Project file.

Instead, go to the task bar on the left and under the heading Finish Movie, choose save to computer. From there just choose whatever format you need.
