Different name than mom?

i've decided not to be called mom, mommy, mama or mother by my future children. i want something different but still means mom...any different languages or nicknames u know?

  1. Then don't have kids. Kids are not going to know some foreign word when they start talking and it's natural that "mama" is the first type of recognition given to their mother.

    My little boy calls me momma and I love it. It's the sweetest, best word in the whole world to me- especially coming from his sweet little face. :)

    I sometimes call my mom 'Mutti', which is german. I dont know why but ye..

    'Mere' in french i think?

    Erm.dont know if this will help, but these names mean mother in some way or form..
