Different style than others?

I love jazz, swing, instrumental and post-rock. I dress kinda different too. Most people in my school and where i live don't listen to this why is that?

dude, i listen to **** no one else listens to in my are and i love it.  if you want someone else to listen to, then introduce some coltrane or muddy waters to some of your more open minded friends and see what they think.  peace.

Where do you live? Dunno why people don't like that kind of music, my personal preference is rock, all through the spectrum but especially the old stuff, Zepplin, Cream, Steppinwolf etc.
