  1. of course there are the classics: mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, industrial..now theres biomedical, robotics, software, systems and then more out there fields like food engineering, environmental engineering...

  2. You may be aware that there are many engineering fields and now many of those fields of engineering are interdisciplinary meaning they combine many elements.

Each field of engineering has their own specialties whether in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.

I'm an Electrical Engineer and my specialty is in wireless communications. Other fields in Electrical Engineering can be controls, hardware (silicon chips, microelectronic devices and design), digital signal and image processing, acoustics, power, etc. the list goes on.. and the same is for any other field of engineering.

It can be very confusing, but in order to be a good engineer you need to understand the fundamentals so my specialty may not be in fluid dynamics or chemistry but I need to know these fundamentals as well as having a strong math and physics background.

Basically there is a field of engineering for anything your mind can imagine. If there isn't then make your own path and create it!!

  3. ECE(Electrical Communication Engineering)

    EEE(Electronic and Electrical Engineering)

    CSE(Computer Science and Engineering)

    IT(Information Technology)

    Mechanical

    Chemical

    Production

    Civil
