  9. I suggest you go to the library and get a copy of a railway encyclopaedia. There are so many different kinds of trains in use in the world today that it would take a pretty big book just to list them. They are as diverse as any other form of transport.

    Nearly every country in the world, even the poorest, has a railway system of some kind, so unless you are unlucky enough to be living in one of the few that don't (e.g. Afghanistan, Iceland), you could start by looking at the rail system in your own country.
