  1. What is the wrong in that?

I mean Eid is 4 enjoying .right?

    so?

    Explain to me too?plz?

  2. IN SOUTH ASIA:

there is no concept of mixing & clubbing. Every one (99.5%) here spend the Eid with family. Getting up early for Eid prayer , preparing for it by wearing new clothes and fulfilling the sun-nah by eating some sweet dish before going for prayer are the most practicing norms here. After eid prayer, male folk come home and all sit together (family) & eat specially cooked dishes. Afterward relatives are visited to greet. thats all lovely and all what we every year do here.

  3. people in midle east celebrating Eid like this:

Female are cooking some good dishes

and go on thier some reletives or friends house for greetings

invite their reletives on their house to enjoy good time

go for picnic with their children in some parks

but going in clubs or bar is haram and not good throughiut all days of life

  4. The khutba in my masjid yesterday mentioned a bit about eid..

i'll share a small bit of it inshallah.

some Muslims, when they increase their sincerity and worship in the month of Ramadaan feels spiritually elevated, yet, they complain of not feeling the same the day after Ramadaan ends, or the 2nd day.  Why would one feel such a decrease in their imaan in such a short time?

They must have done sinful deeds on Eid day?  And he(the khateeb) called the Muslims to celebrate Eid by following Islaamic guidlines.

Eid is traditionally celebrated by usually spending time with family and loved ones, and one can clebrate it in an untraditional manner, provided that they are within the guidlines of Islaam.

Clubbing involves too many haraam actions in general.

    1) immodest dressings

    2) mixing of the two genders

    3) instrumental music

    4) dancing

    5) laughing too much or loudly

    6) drinking (depending)

    7) Most of all, all leads to, forgetting the remembrances of Allah, weakening in Imaan and Taqwa real bad!

the other part of the question, about "house parties", nothing wrong with celebrating in house parties.. but remember why Eid is our celebration, and therefore Fear Allah, and do not do anything other than for His pleasure!

and the rest of the question "how can you tell your friends", THAT you have to find out.  We as Muslims do not have the responsibility to change someone's understanding or view, but to convey the message.  Therefore, learn for yourself the message well, and convey to them in a good way that you find the most effective, beautiful and fitted.  Then what they choose is for their ownselves.

    =)

  5. first of all...as far as the clubbing goes, there shouldn't be any mixing between the sexes, second, listing to music is haraam, so what's up with that?!!!

  6. If you believed in Islam you will not do any Haram things like mix with those who is not muhrim, drink any thing that can make you drunk, after you fast for one month you should celebrate in islamic way by visit your families, help those who need help, the best way is to bring your girlfriends and your boys to see and give donation to the poor or disable peoples. May Allah be with you.

  7. this is a time of celebration and remembrance of Allah so why go do haraam things like going to clubs and drinking and do things that are not pleasing to HIM. why bother fasting the month of ramadan if you're just going to waste the blessing of the month as soon as it's done. try hanging out w/ your family and enjoying a good meal. i pray the eid salaat if i'm able and then later on the sisters and brothers get together (separately of course) and have a huge meal. we also make up islaamic games and last year we even  had a skating party, w/out music and the boys and girls took turns skating so it was a fun time. you deon't have to do haraam things to have a good time sis.
