Different ways to draw buildings??

i volenteered to draw this building, an old one, and my drawing will be part of a collectin depending on how good i am, i think im pretty good but b4 i can draw it, i have to lesarn more about drawing buildings..help!!??

If you have difficulty getting accurate proportions of the building, you could make a grid of about 12 squares onto a page of acetate. Then on your blank page, recreate 12 squares (lightly in pencil), and start drawing, while always checking your proportions within each square.

You could also learn perspective and draw the building using the correct perspective techniques. Either way, rough out your building a few times as thumbnail sketches and it will give you the confidence to tackle the drawing. Hope you get into the collection :-)

try looking at pictures of normal buildings on google

or look at buildings similar to the ones you have to draw

try drawing it from different angels, decide which one u like the best or can draw the best

with people, its all about drawing in porportion, with buildings the shape and the lines have to be right
