give a formula in terms of dz/dx and dz/dy for the total differentiation of a function, z=z(x,y)

    Read through your text books!!

    Remember this: 1= (x) X y/ z


  2. the total differential is....

    dz = (Dz/Dx)dx + (Dz/Dy)dy

    The big D's are supposed to be partial derivative deltas.
