  1. Lymph from blood: when blood flows through capillaries, blood plasma (the clear liquid without the RBCs) leaks out into the extracellular space. it is now called interstitial fluid. this now drains not back into the blood vessel (venule), but into different vessels called lymphatic vessels, and is now called lymph.

Lymphatic vessel vs blood vessel: blood vessels are the ones that contain red blood cells..including arteries, arterioles, capillaries, venules, veins. These are connected to each other ina circuit that leads eventually to the heart and lungs and out to the body again. lymphatic capillaries are blind-ended ie they aren't connected to other vessels in the way blood capillaries are connected to arterioles and venules etc. they do however join up to larger lymphatic vessels and eventually drain into the thoracic duct, which empties into the superior vena cava which drains into the right atrium of the heart. this returns the plasma to the blood, keeping blood volume constant. strictly speaking a capillary is also a vessel, albeit a small one.
