f(x)= (x+2/x)(x²-4)

    Is that more advanced than Algebra 2?

    Differentiate= separate          

    Do you opposite of simplify?

    Haven't had this class in a long time...

    calculate the derivative?

    (x²+2)(x²-4)

    it could've been

    (x²+2) [(x+2)(x+2)]  in which (x+2) would be the derivative.

    BUT the -4 would have to be 4 in the equation.
