Difficult Teen Situation?

Okay well this all started in January when my mom took away my cell phone for contacting this older boy that I liked and we exchanged some kinda inappropriate text messages, and anyway my parents are divorced so they don't get along anyway. So my mom won't give back my phone although she said she would give it back to me after I got honors on my report card ( I did) and that was June 30th Well the police have told me that she can't keep the phone since she doesnt pay, own, or registered it and she would have to take it back, but if I go to the police I don't want them looking at the messages it's none of their business anyways right? Please don't give me any smart *** answers this is a problem and it's gone on for so long I just want answers

IN CONCLUSION: If I ask the police for inforcement would they look at the messages if my mom said something?

First of all you are talking about  calling the the police to tell them to make your mommy give you your phone back so you and your 15 year old "boyfriend" can text about things that you cannot even begin to understand. GROW UP!

By making the comment that your mom and dad are divorced and do not get along that says that you are also playing them against each other. You said that your mom does not pay for the phone, Do You? She may not pay for the phone or the plan but I am sure she more than pays for you, your clothes, your food.

My daughter is 15 and I took her phone for talking to a 18 year old when she was 14. Unless you are 18(and I doubt you are) and you have a job where you can afford to move out on your own and get your own phone plan then grow up and stop running to anyone who will listen to get you way. You don't believe this and I don't even know you but you are still a child.
