Difficult organic chemistry nomenclature question!

Here is the structure:

It's a product I made in organic lab, and I need to figure out the name of the compound in order to look up its melting point (and compare it to the melting point I determined in class).

I know that it is a derivative of 1-indanone, so hopefully you can work off of that! Thanks in advance!

  2. I can't speak for your being able to find this derivative unless you have a table of benzylidene derivatives. This is the name generated by CSC's ChemDraw Ultra: (E)-2-(4-ethylbenzylidene)-2,3-dihydro-1... [1H-inden-1-one]. I first named it as just 2-(4-ethylbenzylidene)-1-indanone.
