The assistant to the head coach of the Turin outfit has gone on to state that their progress during the season has not been easy during the absence of Conte.

Conte and Angelo Alessio. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 and Bonucci were cleared of any wrongdoing due to a lack of evidence; whereas Conte and his assistant, Alessio, were given sentences. Conte’s initial ban of ten months was slashed down to six months upon appeal.
Conte has maintained his innocence over the whole issue and stated vehemently that the allegations are far from the truth. His absence from the Lega has seen the team give away their unbeaten run in the Serie A, which culminated at the hands of their bitter

Alessio was talking to the press and during his conversation with the media he remarked that it had not been easy to perform to the best of their abilities in the absence of the former Siena head coach, and remarked:
“It was difficult to do without Antonio, but the team knows what it has to do and how it must move, so they helped the situation immensely. We had to call a few players today who weren’t keeping their positions. I know what Antonio has been through over
the last few months. I want to thank the staff who worked so hard to achieve this fundamental objective of qualification.”
Conte has been present in the matches that Juve have been part of, and has seen the matches from the stands.
