Difficulty at falling pregnant again?

Hi, 34 yo with 6 yo boy - got pregant in the first month of trying. Now, tried with no protection (condom) since Feb 08 but still no news. 30 day cycle, non smoker, non drinker, healthy weight range. What is happening? How long will it take for no 2? Any tips? Really want another child desparately

I'm in the same boat.  My daughter is 5.  Been TTC for nearly 3 years.  I have heard that some couples experience "secondary infertility" where you have no problems getting pregnant with the first, but then with no explaination have difficulty with getting pregnant with a second child.  I finally had my doctor run blood test about 6 months ago.  My hormones are all fine and was told I shouldn't be the problem.  Husband is calling the doctor today to get an appointment to check him out.  Plus, I started using ovulation test sticks so that we can be sure to time s*x when I actually have an egg available.

Most doctors won't do any sort of tests for infertility until you've been trying for a year.  Until then, you could try charting your basal body temp, home ovulation tests, etc.

It helped me when I came on here and saw that other women are having the same issues as me.  I don't feel alone in this anymore.  It's like a kind of support group.

As you are not Old, But you got a age where it takes bit longer to Conceive. In Early Ages, women Ability Producing eggs is bit stronger, but later it get bit slower. I will recommend you First to Buy OVULATION KIT. Check you Ovulation on The 15th Day from your 1st day of Periods. For Example , If you have your 1st day of Periods on 5th Of any Month, it means your Day of Ovulation is 20th, if you have a 28 day Normal Menstrual Cycle. In this way you check your Ovulation Day. And then have The s*x on the Day of Ovulation. Plus have a s*x in a Missionary Position, and try to have a Deep s*x, ad ask your Other Half to Ejaculate In Deep near to Cervix. Try this way for Few Months, I am Hopefull, you will get Pregnant.

You haven't been trying for a huge amount of time. Don't forget your about 7 years older since you had your first child and our fertility does start to decline from around 35 yrs of age so it probably will take longer second time around. If you have been pregnant before you will be again just be patient and try not to become completely consumed with the thought of getting pregnant otherwise it will take even longer.

have you been watching body for when your ovulating as that will be your best bet if unsure maybe try by a test kit  but also it might be a case of keep trying and then still if nothing happens maybe go see your doctor

i am in the same position as you. I have a 2 year old daughter and have been trying to conceive since last year. a few months ago i went to see a gynaecologist who did blood tests and found i was not ovulating. Am now on third month of taking Clomid, which has been working in getting me ovulating but not preg yet. doc told me to have intercourse on days 13-17 which we did without success.... this month am going to test my ovulation dates, as it can vary. the common way of calculating when you ovulate is to use day 14 of your cycle, but i have spoken to different people and for them it was earlier, later or spot on. So it may be worth checking with your doctor what's happening.... good luck :)
