Difficulty name and nick name in official use?

can I use nick name instead of real name and how to legalize it? can use it on f ex. driving licence?

You have to use your real name on official documents, your legal name that's on your birth certificate.

You can change your name by deed poll but you have to have been known by the name you want to use for a year or two.(I'm not sure of the exact time)
