    Focus = where it started.

    Epicenter = The epicenter or epicentre is the point on the Earth's surface that is directly above the hypocenter or focus, the point where an earthquake or underground explosion originates.

    u know these two terms therefore u might be knowing tht they r related. in terms of geography,these terms are used to describe earthquake especially.

    FOCUS is the point on the earthsurface where the earthquake originates but EPICENTER is the point inside the earthsurface tht is perpendiclar to focus.
