Digestive disorder/ Drinking??

I asked this question earlier but I left out some details....

I believe I have something wrong with my digestive system... I am 22yrs old and I have the "runs" constantly anytime I eat anything!

It used to not be as bad and would only happen with greasy things and ice cream...but now it seems as though its all the time. and whenever I eat anything.

I have been to the doctor about this and since I dont have insurance theres not much that can be done at all right now other than figuring out what kind of food bothers me and avoiding it..as the doctor said...but it can be when I eat anything! Im not sure what I can do to help fix this problem, Im afraid to ever eat and I wouldnt dare go out to eat anymore because I would be immediately running to the bathroom every 5 minutes.

People say it may be the IBS or the gallbladder ... but would this be happening with non greasy foods if it was the gallbladder? because from my understanding it was just greasy foods...

What I was wondering is I never had this problem until I turned 21 and started drinking. I live in a college town with nothing to do but go out and drink so Ive been doing that everyweek..usually multiple times a week for the past year, So at first it only happend when I woke up in the morning, not from eating anything. And then one day I ate a hot pocket and had to run to the bathroom and it slowly began to happen constantly now! Could stopping drinking help possibly? & drinking more water instead of alcohol??

I dont want rude comments about AA meetings at such, thats not what this is about.

Thanks!!!

  1. Sounds like a food allergy or intolerance of some kind.  It could be a gluten intolerance.  Most alcoholic beverages contain a fair amount of grain.  Don't know what kind of beverages you typically drink, but you may want to not mix a lot of different alcoholic beverages. If you feel the need to drink, maybe try just rum and diet coke.  Rum does not have a grain base like most other alcoholic beverages.
