DigiMate HD3201 - Problem with 16:9 format

Question

I'm having a problem getting my HD3201 to properly view 16:9. When viewing a 16:9 dvd, there is a black border surrounding the picture (which makes the movie utilize only a small amount of the screen). When I navigate to "full screen" in the menu, it stretches the video to fit the screen's width but does not increase the height of the picture. I have used many other LCD's to know that it should be possible to view my widescreen dvds to fill this 32 inch.
