Digital Bathroom Scales or Regular ones... which is more accurate?

My regular scale weight me five pounds more than my digital one.

I have a digital scale -- and I have always considered them to be more accurate.  (When you're on a regular scale, you can lean your body a little bit and make the reading move 1-2 pounds either direction.)  But, let's face it, it doesn't matter which scale you use ... What matters is how your weight compares from one day to the next -- i.e., whether you're gaining weight, losing weight, or holding steady -- and also how you fit in your clothes.  The actual number is rather meaningless -- which means that it doesn't matter what kind of scale you use -- as long as you use the same scale every time.  But -- another note -- I have noticed that, if your batteries in your digital scale start to go bad, it will make your readings not right.  That's when you first suspect you need to replace the batteries is when goofy stuff starts happening.
