Digital Camera, and Movie Maker problem! NEED HELP!?

Hey,

well, I have just figured out how to finalise my digital cam disks, it's great, I can finally play them on my computer, or dvd player.

When I put them into my laptop, they play fine, like on windows media, and stuff, but when I import the footage onto my movie maker, it will be cut short, like from 4 mins, to 3 secs!

Also, I have tried to move the file (copy) into another folder, so when i remove the disk, it'll still be there, but it doesn't work, it says like it didn't work or something, try again.

Please help, I have tried to cut the qs down, but there is too much info to explain!

PLEASE HELP! XX

  1. Download and install Handbrake

    http://handbrake.fr/

Then rip the video from the DVD to .avi, .wmv or .dv format... then drag/drp the converted file to MovieMaker's clips pane or timeline.

  2. Once your disc is finalized it needs to be converted using a file converter program such as handbrake (free download),

Get a better editing program, windows movie maker is sadly lacking.
