Digital Camera Recommendation.... HELP!!!

Question

I have been searching forever for a good quality digital camera with the following specifications. If you have any suggestions I would be very appreciative. Thank you.

* 8.0 megapixels

* $180 - $230

* 5x Optical zoom

* high customer reviews

* prefere SD memory cards

Any Ideas???

I would recommend the nikon s550. it's fairly new and at the top range of your budget...but worth it.

Fujifilm and Panasonic often makes the best compact digital cameras. Panasonics usually starts wide at 28mm, which means a broader angle of view can be easily obtained, compared to the usual 36 or 38mm. Fujifilm manages to avoid gimicky features into their cameras, and the final image quality can often compare to cameras much more expensive.
