Digital Camera Trouble?

Question

I have a Samsung S1000 and all of a sudden it won't work at all. When I hit the ON button, it doesn't come on but it beeps really loud 3 times.

I have tried changing the batteries. I've even tried different batteries. I've also unsuccessfully tried plugging it into the computer to see if that would help.

Does anyone know what is going on? Does anyone have the same problem? How can I fix this? Where could I send it to get repaired?

oh, ive had this camera...plus like 5 other ones.

i have bad luck with digitals. lol.

but what happened to me with one, the lens got stuck and i had to sort've pop it back in place?

see if the lens is all the way down and if not, call customer service.

or if you wanna be like me and risk breaking it more, then try to push it back in.

call Samsung customer services and explain your problem they should tell you what to do.

Were the batteries you tried changing out new? Could it be that both sets of batteries are used and low on power?

If using fresh batteries still produces the beeps and the camera is still under warranty, call the Samsung service center and see about getting it replaced or repaired.
