Digital Camera With Really Good Video Quality?

A few days ago my digital camera and camcorder got stolen from me from my own room. Gosh those b******s didn't even leave one.

I only can afford one so can anybody tell me a good digital camera that takes good quality video and sound?

Is the Canon - PowerShot 8.0-Megapixel Digital Camera any good?

JMO; I have the Canon S5IS and I have to say, all it's  shortcomings aside, it takes excellent quality video (it records audio in stereo).

My friend's SD850 is nearly as good.

Another one to definitely consider is the Canon G9, better all around camera than the two aforementioned, but I can't comment on movie quality as I've never shot one with it.

If picture quality is priority though, the G9 is a better cam.
