Digital Camera or Camcorder

Question

Im thinking of doing some home videos. But im not sure if i should buy a Digital camera thats able to record video's or a Camcorder.

digital camera meant to let u take good picture.

camcorder meant to let u take video.

u need a camcorder if u wanna take home video.digi cam can't give u better quality than camcorder on video.

i prefer camcorder, as i bought a canon camcorder last month.
