Digital Camera?!?

Question

my camera broke and i'm going on a cruise soon!

what kind of camera should i get? something kind of cheap but it needs to still be good...and i dont want anything too fancy. but it needs to be clear!

I just bought myself a fujifilm camera and its really nice it cost me like $150 and i like it cuz it dosent have the thing when u turn on the camera that thing pops out that zooms in and stuff and thats how i broke my last camera so atleast this camera dosent have it so i like it.

go to walmart and get a small one. It will cost at least 80 bucks.

my camera was from target, cheapest one and still very good.

it comes in orange green blue silver and sometimes pink.

it's only 89 dollars. (must buy memory card too)

Skip the Sony Cybershot... I have it and the lag between pressing the button and the actual shutter action is very long - I miss a lot of shots (even when fully charged)

Canon makes great cameras in the 200 dollar price range. I would recommend getting one with a lithium battery though. IMO Cameras that take AA batteries just eat through batteries and if you have a cell phone then you know how to charge a lithium battery already and it's much cheaper than buying AA batteries all the time! Also, buy online (like from Amazon or newegg.com). They have way better prices. Plus no sales tax and usually no shipping or very cheap.

For  about $150- + shipping at Abe's of Maine and TriState Camera, consider the Canon PowerShot A590 IS .  It's 4X optical zoom, 8 megapixels, has image stabilizer for shaky hands. Can use controls manually or just leave on auto.

The best brand I would say would be Canon. Specifically the powershot. However, these are not too cheap. They range from 200-300 dollars. Another good, cheaper brand is fuji film. Their cameras are not as good quality but they cost around 150 dollars. I hope I helped. Good luck and have fun on your cruise.

poloroid at target, they have pink, lime green, and tons of other colors. they only cost $80.00 and work really well, but they dont come with a memory card so you will need to get one

Depend on your budge, under 100 or low 100 would be Fuji camera, they gave you the best picture for the price, for mid 150  to 200 would be canon, 200 or above consider panasonic, they newer camera offer 720P HD video recorder.
